McCain, Obama Pledge to Support National Service

Senators Barack Obama and John McCain, in a show of unity in observance of the Sept 11 terrorist attacks, jointly visited Ground Zero in NYC together on 9/11 and later attended a public policy forum on National Service, sponsored by ServiceNation.org.  Both candidates expressed general support for remembering 9/11 through service and also endorsed the effort to increase public funding for a national service investments.
