Lifetime Launches Stop Breast Cancer Campaign

Network’s multi-platform campaign includes PSA, online content, community outreach and more

In conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lifetime Networks is launching its 14th annual Stop Breast Cancer for Life campaign for October. Promotion of this cause can be seen through Lifetime’s programming and public service announcement campaign, as well as online materials that viewer’s can download and print to learn critical information about clinical trials, early detection of breast cancer, and ways to get involved in community efforts to eradicate breast cancer.

Also online will be stories of breast cancer survivors, tools to raise funds for the cause, and a petition urging Congress to end the practice of “drive-through” mastectomies, when women are forced to leave the hospital sometimes just hours following surgery.

Go to http://www.mylifetime.com/community/my-lifetime-commitment/breast-cancer, where you can read about the campaign, sign the petition, and even create your own virtual character to be part of a chain to raise breast cancer awareness.
